  • I enjoy programming primarilty in C++ and Java. I am currently trying to learn network programming. I built a dedicated mp3-player over the winter holiday that sits with my stereo equipment and has no keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. It is controlled via telnet sessions. I also like to play guitar, read books, and watch football (not soccer).

  • Our idea is to implement a dynamic, location-sensitive city directory that can be accessed via the WWW or from a wireless device equiped with a GPS. The systems receives information from various establishments and uses this to interact with a user, telling them what is happening (e.g. drink specials, concerts, lunch menus) in their area. It can also keep a record of a users favorite places and automagically cache information to be accessed when the network may not be available. Users may even interact further by submitting comments or reviews for others to read.
